Since we arrived in Jamaica, the team has hit the ground running and has already seen some wonderful results. Hundreds of individuals gave their lives to the Lord through school assemblies, prison outreach, and eyeglass clinics this week.

Here are some highlights:

  • Many gave their lives to the Lord as Andrew shared the Gospel at the men’s lunch.

  • Wendy spoke at some women’s prisons and it was a powerful time of worship and prayer for these women—especially at the juvenile girls’ prison where even the staff were moved to tears.

  • It was a packed house at the women’s high tea outreach. Wendy shared her story of hope in Christ and many responded to the message.

Not only are we seeing changed lives during these gatherings, but the team is also running into many people who gave their lives to the Lord through our previous outreaches over the years. Many of them are now volunteering to help with this week’s outreach events!

At the invitation of dozens of local churches, the Palau Association is partnering with Jamaica Broilers to host a unified, area-wide evangelistic festival and massive service effort in Kingston, Jamaica. It all culminates with a one-day, evangelistic festival at the Kingston National Stadium on April 20, 2024.

Born and raised in Jamaica, Wendy Palau has a heart for the people of Jamaica, wanting to see them come to know the Lord and His love for them. Jamaica also holds a special place in Andrew’s heart as the location where he finally gave up his rebellious lifestyle and committed his life to Christ at a Luis Palau Festival in 1993.

This weeklong campaign, which has been in the works for more than a year, will bring encouragement, unity, and hope to the people of Jamaica, while clearly sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with all sectors of society.

Our team will partner with local believers to reach people through school outreaches, women’s and men’s prison ministry, reading eyeglass clinics, Gospel-centered events for men and women, and a free family-friendly festival where the Good News will be proclaimed to kids, teens, and adults alike through special activities, BMX presentations, music, and a Gospel presentation from Andrew Palau.

Please be in prayer for this exciting evangelistic opportunity. You can also check back here, or follow along on social media, to get the latest news and updates throughout the week.
